WSOP 2007 Will Be Super Sized

I just read an interesting article over at Poker News.

Apparently they are doubling the starting chip stacks across all 55 events at this year's WSOP. The double stacks should actually aid the better players and it seems this is an unspoken attempt to try to equalize the online "fish factor" at the WSOP. I don't know but I know I like it.

I am most likely going to miss the WSOP this year. After my cash last year in Event 27, I was hoping to make it out there again for an attempt at bigger and better things but the whole U.S. Online Poker Ban/Neteller fiasco has thrown a wrench in things and as such my bankroll has suffered.

However, spontaneity is something that does rear its ugly head with me every now and then and since the satellites out there are so, so juicy I may end up talking myself into it.
