My Second Mookie

I played in my second Mookie last night. I was a bit disappointed to see that we only had 36 players but I signed up anyway. I like larger fields and tend to steer clear of anything less than 50 when it comes to MTTs. But this is the Mookie and I had some time so I plunked down my $11 and off I went.

I ended up getting to the final table again with the 2nd largest stack and after a couple of brutal back to back beats (I got my money in preflop ahead both times and both times they made straights with only one card in their hand) I got felted in 4th which was still good for $43.

Those beats were payback for earlier when the below hand happened. We got our money all in on the flop so you can see how it ended up. This might be the worst beat I have ever seen and I handed it out.



Congrats to WillWonka for taking it down. I feel pretty good about my play in these. There are some good if not great players that play these things and I have played 2 and final tabled 2. HEE HAW!!!!
