Poker Meanderings...

No, I did not play in the PokerStars bloggers tournament. I was on vacation to Gatlinburg with family and I just couldn't convince myself that playing in the tournament was justification enough to miss the great atmosphere of Gatlinburg (especially since my family was enjoying with me).

Basically I have been playing at FullTilt's .25/.50 NLHE ring games and have been cleaning up pretty well if I do say so myself (for my thresholds anyway). I put up $50 about 3 months ago and have cashed out $200 twice and have $272 in my account right now. The games are pretty boring since all I do is play top-tier hands very vanilla (no creative plays, no bluffing, no trying to trap, no calling to keep people honest). I have never seen so many people play so badly. This has simply been a way for me to build the bankroll and to buy some things I have been wanting for a while. I have put my tournament play on hold for a while but plan on starting that back up again soon.

I am going to try to get to Tunica for the WSOP circuit event there in January but I may have to go to Alaska again for business. Maybe the schedule for what I need to do in Alaska will slip and I will be able to catch the event and get to hang out with The Spaceman again!!!
