HPL vs LACC Showdown...

Hello all. Just wanted to give you a heads up about what is going on in our neck of the woods. The HPL is gearing up for our 4th Season 2 tournament on Friday and I have been really sucking eggs, so I am hoping I can turn things around.

This upcoming Sunday, 6 of our league members from the HPL are going to be taking on the Lord Admiral Card Club fellas in an online tournament showdown of sorts on PokerStars. You must go out and check out these guy's website and start checking out their excellent Poker Podcast they put on every week. It is extremely informative and entertaining. They seem like a great bunch of guys.

The tournament is listed under the Tourney > Private tab. The name of the tournament is HPL vs LACC Showdown. Come out and root the HPL on (or the LACC if you so choose). We finally got around to making this happen and I am really looking forward to it.

In other news, recently I had the honor of playing with the famous Jason and Charlie. I had a wonderful time with these fellas and can't wait to play with them again. I have recently learned that Charlie isn't doing so well health wise and would just like to ask all of you that actually pay attention to this blog to please say a quick prayer for him. I know you may not know him but the world is definitely a better place with him in it. For updates on his situation please stay tuned to Jason's blog.
